DAILY BEHAVIOR MONITORING

We will use the red/yellow/ green chart in the room.  Everyday all of the children will start in “green”.  An off-task behavior will receive a verbal warning.  If this behavior continues or a different off-task behavior is observed, the child will be moved into the “yellow”.  Lastly, a child will be in “red” if he/she does not heed the warnings or performs a behavior that warrants skipping the “yellow” light.

MONTHLY BEHAVIOR CHART

Children who are moved into the yellow or red areas for the day will receive a comment on their monthly behavior chart.  At the end of the month, these charts will go home to review.  If your child does not bring home a chart, that means he/she was not moved out of the green section for the whole month.  A treat will be given to the students who have 3 or less comments on their charts for that month.
