Classroom Rules

The students created the rules of my classroom on the very first day of class.  I took all of their brainstormed ideas, wrote them down, and created two simple rules:

1.    Do things that will not prevent me from teaching, you or others from learning

2.    Respect yourself, others and your school

Discipline/Rewards

Consequences for not following the above rules include:

1.    Loss of privileges (i.e. recess, specials time)

2.    Extra practice assignments (writing)

3.    Phone calls or letters to parents/guardians
