Be respectful to teachers, peers, and yourself at all times
throughout the day.
2.
Raise your hand to respond to a question or to ask a
question.
3.
Do not interrupt.
4.
Complete assignments neatly and hand them in on time.
5.
Get homework checked nightly.
6.
Students may use the restroom one time in the morning and
one time in the afternoon. They are
required to sign out when leaving the room.
7.
Walk quietly in the halls.
8.
Remain quiet and attentive throughout class.


Þ All discipline
will be handled by the classroom teacher unless the offense is warranting a visit
to the principal.
Þ The North
Schuylkill School District Code of Conduct will be followed. This can be found in the student handbook,
pages 20-23.
Þ Detentions may be
used as a punishment.

Whenever a students earns a 100% in homeroom (math, reading, grammar,
and spelling) they are able to place a stamp on a grid.
v
When a row is
filled up (five stamps) they receive a lollipop
v
When the grid
box is filled up (25 stamps) the student receives a free homework pass.
v
The homework
pass is only acceptable in the homeroom setting (math, reading, grammar, and
spelling). When the pass is turned in
the student will receive a 100% for each of the items he/she was to complete
for homework.

Students are
required to hand homework in on the day it is due.
ü
If the homework
is not handed in, a detention warning is assigned. This warning is written in the homework
notebook and is to be signed by the student’s parents.

After a second
homework assignment is missed, a second warning is given to student. Again, the notice is written in the homework
notebook and is to be signed by the student’s parent.
ü
After a third
homework assignment is missed, the student will receive a detention. The notice of when the detention is to be
served will be written in the homework notebook, which has to be signed. Also, the teacher will call home with
detention information. Parents will
receive at least 48 hours notice for a detention.
ü
Detention is
served on a Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-4:30. Parents are responsible to provide transportation
home.
