Meet the Teacher

I graduated in 2003 from Bloomsburg University with a Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.  I currently hold my Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate.  I also have my licensure to practice in Pennsylvania and also hold my Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC’S) from the American Speech and Hearing Association.  I have previously worked in the hospital setting but have transferred to the school setting 3 years ago. Each day brings a new set of students and a new set of cherished memories that I will keep with me always. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. I am married to my husband, Frank, and we have two black labs, Pepper and Lady. Most of our weekends we spend relaxing and fishing at our camper.

Speech Rewards

All students are expected to work hard and take their turn.  Every day that you come to speech prepared, bring your folder (if you have one), and work hard you earn a stamp on your stamper sheet. Sometimes I might give you worksheets to practice at home with your parents.  If you have your parent sign your worksheet-so I know that you practiced it, you earn a bonus stamper on your sheet. When you have accumulated ten stamps, you have earned yourself a trip to the prize box as a reward for all your hard work.
