BIOGRAPHY INFORMATION

 

I am a graduate of Blue Mountain High School.  I graduated from Penn State University in 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education.  While completing my undergraduate work, I also concentrated on psychology and sociology.  In 2005, I graduated from Alvernia College with my Master’s Degree in Urban Education, with a concentration and certification in Special Education.  My post-graduate coursework included School Law and Social Advocacy,  Strategies for working with Students with Special Needs, and Language and Literacy Education for Struggling Learners.  My Master’s thesis focused on students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Reading Disabilities. 

Currently, I am an itinerant learning and emotional support teacher for students in Kindergarten through twelfth grade. 

                                                                                               

 

 

 

CONTACT INFORMATION

 

I am currently in four different schools; Ashland Elementary, Frackville Elementary, Ringtown Elementary, and STC-South Campus.  My schedule varies regularly due to IEP meetings and teacher conferences, however I have included a schedule of times and places that I may be reached on any day of the week.  My home base is in Frackville Elementary, so if all else fails, a message can be left there.
