CLASSROOM RULES
As a Title I teacher I go
into the classroom with the various teachers whose students are in my
program. I adhere to the established
rules of each individual teacher’s classroom.

CURRICULUM
The
Title I reading teacher’s job is to supplement the education of the Title I
students. We go into the classrooms
with the students and individually work with them on problem areas. We often break into small groups within the
classroom for more individual instruction in particular areas. There are also times during which we team
teach with the classroom teacher. Our
goal is to get to know the individual weaknesses of the students in our program
so that we can focus on those areas to improve their overall reading skills in
all areas of the curriculum.
We
use the student’s classroom curriculum:
·
Reading – Harcourt Collections – Kindergarten
through Fourth Grade – www.harcourtschool.com
·
Phonics – Saxon Phonics Series – Kindergarten
through Second Grade
·
Kidwriting – Kindergarten – Kindergarten and
First Grade – www.kidwriting.com
