MENU TODAY – Rotini w/meat sauce, garlic bread, salad, pears/hot ham and cheese or chicken wrap.

MENU TOMORROW – Salisbury Steak w/gravy, mashed potatoes, whole wheat bread, applesauce/hamburger on a roll or chicken wrap.

 

All returning Vo-tech students must be registered in order to drive to school.  Please stop in the main office for your paperwork.  Cost is $25.

 

Spanish Club will meet today in the library.

 

Chorus rehearsal for all members today at 2:35-5PM.  If you are unable to attend you must see Mrs. Kline today.

 

SPORTS NEWS:

·       There will be a meeting today at 2:35 in the cafeteria for any student who plans to play Jr. High/Sr. High football next year.

·       Frackville Teener Baseball Registration will be held this Saturday, February 4 at the Friendship Fire Co. in Engelwood from 10AM to 12N.

·       Girls playing soccer next year should meet with Coach Otuyelu for a brief meeting today at 2:35 in Mr. Geiswhite’s room #880.

·       Varsity wrestling cheerleaders must be at the school no later than 3:45PM Wednesday for the match.

·       Last night the Jr. High wrestling team beat Shamokin by the score of 59 to 12 and lost to Mt. Carmel 41 to 42 during a tri meet.  Winning for the Spartans were Owen Boyer, Mason Madden, Shane Casey, Cordell Lex, Brian Riedel, Rick Elliot, Shane McGrath, Gene Fertig, Joe Alexander, C.J. Steinhilber, Mike Damiter, Tyler Brill.

·       The Spartan basketball team defeated Panther Valley last night 66 to 57.  Brandon McCloskey had a game high 20 points in the win.  Jake Rakowsky added 19 for the Spartans, who will host Pine Grove on Thursday night.

·       The Lady Spartan basketball team hosts Panther Valley tonight.  JV game is 6PM, varsity game starts at 7:30PM.

·       The swim team travels to Shamokin Area today.  The meet begins at 4:30PM.

 

GUIDANCE NEWS:

·       Attention Seniors:  In order for your midyear grades to be sent out to colleges and universities, you must complete a transcript request form in the guidance office.
