Attention all 7th and 8th grade students:  How would you like a free t-shirt and a field trip to Bloomsburg University.  Sign up today in guidance for the computer forensics summer camp from June 14 to June 17.  (Mr. Gober)

 

Students enrolled in an Honors English course or the AP English course for the next school year are required to pick up their summer reading materials on Wednesday from the English teacher who will be teaching the course next year.  Check with your present English teacher to find out who you should see to obtain your materials.

 

SPORTS NEWS:

·         Attention all Football Cheerleaders attending camp:  Your camp balance is due no later than Wednesday, June 2, 2010.  Please place all money in the cheer mailbox.

·         There are forms in the main office for any boy in grades 7 through 10 who are interested in attending the NS boys’ basketball camp this summer.

·         Any student who signed up to be on next year’s golf team should see Mr. Cuthie to pick up information on the summer golf program.

·         Congratulations to the Lady Spartans on their outstanding effort at the PIAA State Track and Field Championships in Shippensburg.  Kaitlyn McSurdy picked up a 5th place finish in the 300 meter hurdles.  Meg O’Keefe finished 4th in the 100 meter hurdles and the 4 by 400 relay team of Kaitlin McSurdy, Caitlyn Deeter, Mimi Teter and Meg O’Keefe finished in 5th place.  Congratulations ladies on an outstanding season!

·         All girl basketball players in grades 8 through 11 will meet tomorrow at 2:35PM in the cafeteria.  On Thursday night at 7PM there will be a meeting in the cafeteria for all 7th graders who plan on playing girls Jr. high Basketball this fall.   Parents should attend this meeting.

·         Any Jr. High or Varsity track athlete who did not return their uniform, please return it to Coach Chat no later than Wednesday.
