Curriculum Mapping

The North Schuylkill School District has been involved in curriculum mapping for the past several years. The curriculum mapping process allows the school district to transform our current practices into the 21st century and develop a strong curriculum in which every staff member is an active participant. We utilize curriculum mapping as a vehicle for curriculum articulation and alignment to the state standards.

Our teachers and administrators have been utilizing the TechPaths Curriculum Mapping System to document the curriculum for all of our course offerings. An important aspect guiding the curriculum mapping process is the effective utilization of data to drive our curriculum development.

The North Schuylkill School District is constantly refining and developing our curriculum maps. This is an ongoing process. Curriculum development is a process of review and revision. We plan on posting our curriculum maps on our website for your review and evaluation.
