+ After School Program's Spring Session for 5th and 6th Grade Students Will Resume February 23, 2010.
The North Schuylkill School District after school enrichment program for 5th and 6th grade students will resume, February 23, 2010. The program is being made possible through a 21st Century Community Learning Center federal grant.
The program offers homework help, math and reading tutoring and a variety of enrichment activities including art, music, field trips, movies, guest speakers, physical fitness and more! Transportation home is provided, as is a daily snack.
The After School Program is available each weekday, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. The program will run for six weeks in the Fall and another six weeks in the Spring. Your child must commit to the entire six weeks to get the most benefit from the program. An advanced commitment is necessary so that we may provide enough teachers, materials for students and coordinate bussing.
If you have any questions regarding the After School Program, please contact Beverly Ney, Program Coordinator, at bney@northschuylkill.net. Please remember, we are asking students to sign up for all 6 weeks.
