· Langley Wind Ensemble
We’re very happy to bring to the North Schuylkill Community a very fine Wind Quintet on Friday, May 9th. Special thanks to the Pottsville Republican & Herald to making this happen. You can get free tickets from them here.
· Concert Band
Hard core rehearsals Tuesdays and Thursdays until the show May 8th. Be prepared and be ready to put some worthwhile effort in. Dress is not black and white; yes shirts skirts and ties. Jeans? You know better than that.
· Drum Corps 2008
North Schuylkill will be hosting the super-awesome-legendary-amazing-spectacular-supersweet Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps again this Summer. The men will be on location July 31st through August 2nd. I’m working on the schedule but I’m pretty sure I should be able to hook us up with some clinic time and a full on official performance. If you’re not on vacation, don’t miss this one.
· Marching Band
Rehearsals are on the calendar for the Memorial Day parades. We’ll be in G-ville at 8:30, Ashland at 10, and Ringtown at 11. And they ain’t optional bot.
· Field Show 2008
It’s the Aaron Copland tribute, it’s going to be awesome, and you’re going to love it.
· Crazy for You *Pit Band*
Great Job Pit Band (and cast and crew) I’m so overjoyed I can’t even think about putting on another musical until at least January. Seriously, it was the best sounding pit band I’ve ever had the pleasure of conducting.
