About Schuylkill ACHIEVE

The Schuylkill ACHIEVE Program includes a variety of activities and learning experiences that are designed to support positive student outcomes both in and out of school. Some of our activities include homework assistance and tutoring, STEAM Exploration (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art-Math), Character Education & Incentives, and more.

The Schuylkill ACHIEVE Program is offered, at no cost to participants, Monday through Thursday during the school year for a total of 36 weeks. The program offers periodic special events and field trips on Saturdays. Schuylkill ACHIEVE also offers free summer camps that continue to provide enrichment in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM), Reading, Health, Creative Expression, and Character Development. Registration information for these camps becomes available in the spring of the year.

Hours: 2:45 PM – 5:15 PM

General Information

Schuylkill ACHIEVE afterschool program provides academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children at no cost to participants. Programs run Monday through Thursday for 36 weeks during the school year and up to 6 additional weeks during the summer.

Daily Opportunities Include

  • Homework Help
  • Math and Science Exploration (STEM activities)
  • Reading and Writing Help
  • Music, Dance, Arts & Crafts
  • Recreation
  • Character Education
  • A daily snack
  • Transportation home (if needed)

Summer Programs

Up to 6 weeks of summer programming at no cost to participants (sessions in June & July).

  • STEAM Camp: Focus on science, technology, engineering, art, and math — a challenging, creative, and comprehensive experience that extends beyond the student’s academic day.
  • Reading Camp: Enhances literacy skills through engaging, hands-on activities.
  • Health Camp: Promotes wellness and healthy habits.
