About the Wall of Fame

The North Schuylkill Wall of Fame was established in 2017 to honor graduates who have brought distinction to themselves and to their alma mater through exceptional achievement in their personal and professional lives.

Do you know an outstanding alumna or alumnus who deserves to be recognized by his or her alma mater? The North Schuylkill Wall of Fame committee seeks nominations of graduates who have distinguished themselves through exceptional achievement. Do you know someone? Why not nominate them today? The North Schuylkill School District is currently seeking nominations for its next Wall of Fame Class, recognizing North Schuylkill graduates for their outstanding academic and professional achievements. NS graduates are eligible for nomination to the Wall of Fame ten years after their graduation date.

All applications should be submitted to the district by March 15 of every year. The North Schuylkill School District Wall of Fame Committee will review the applications and select those to be honored with this award. Formal ceremonies recognizing the new Wall of Fame members will take place in conjunction with North Schuylkill's commencement ceremonies in June.

Election Process

1. At least ten (10) classes must have graduated from the time of the nominee's graduation before he/she becomes eligible for election to the Wall of Fame.
2. Any alumni meeting the ten (10) year rule are eligible to be nominated and selected.
3. Nominating forms are available on the district website or in the high school principal's office and must be completed and submitted no later than March 15 of each year.
4. Induction ceremonies for newly inducted members of the NSSD Wall of Fame will be held in conjunction with the annual NSSD Commencement Exercises.
5. Names of inductees will be showcased on an electronic display in the main lobby of the NSSD Junior/Senior High School.
6. Each inductee will receive a plaque on the night they are inducted into the Wall of Fame.
