Danielle Snyder, North Schuylkill Class of 2011 Valedictorian, has built a unique career in the business of fun—theme parks and attractions.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University in Manhattan. During her time at NYU, Danielle gained hands-on experience in the entertainment industry through an internship at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

She then joined Ashland Technologies Inc.—working in the Florida Facility under fellow Wall of Fame inductee Bill Wydra—where she gained first-hand exposure to the manufacturing side of the attractions industry, including dark rides and themed entertainment experiences.

In 2021, Danielle took on a global role in marketing at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), the premier trade association representing the global attractions industry. In her role, she leads marketing strategy and communications efforts that reach industry professionals and consumers across more than 100 countries.
