Dr. Nicole Johnson

Dr. Johnson holds an Educational Doctorate in Special Education with an emphasis in Dual Sensory Impairments and an M.Ed. in Special Education (Orientation and Mobility) from Texas Tech University. She earned her B.S.Ed. from Kutztown University in Teacher of the Visually Impaired and Elementary Education.
Prior to teaching at Kutztown University, Dr. Johnson taught students with visual impairments and cognitive disabilities aged birth through twenty-one. Her areas of research include effects of wait time when working with children who have disabilities and teaching strategies for students with low incidence disabilities. Dr. Johnson has presented at both state and national levels on dual sensory impairments.
