Dr. Stacey Rentschler

North Schuylkill Wall of Fame — Inducted June 2018

Dr. Rentschler is the daughter of Donald and Judith Rentschler and is married to Dr. Stuart Friess. She has two children, Cassandra and Noah, and resides in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Rentschler received her undergraduate degree from Lehigh University and her doctorate from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. She also completed her residency and fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Rentschler has been awarded the prestigious Burroughs Wellcome Foundation Career Award for Medical Scientists. Her research program focuses on preventing and treating heart rhythm abnormalities that can lead to stroke and sudden cardiac death. She is serving a three-year appointment on the Weinstein Cardiovascular Development and Regeneration Conference Steering Committee. She is an Ad Hoc Reviewer for many journals and publications and is also involved in many community service projects in the St. Louis area.
